Compagnia di San Paolo works to foster relationships and interconnections and to enhance and internationalise the systems of contemporary culture and museums and institutions of the territory. A number of actions concern training and professionalisation of artists and creative people, through residencies and workshops, fostering international mobility and promotion and encouraging participation in EU networks and calls.
As for productions in contemporary expressive languages, the experience of the "ORA" project gave rise to planning two distinct actions: a call for proposals for organisations with solid planning and management skills and a project for individuals and teams under-30.
Furthermore, in 2018 the theme of cultural opportunities related to the digital sphere and new technologies is going to be developed.
In this context and in collaboration with other Departments, close attention can be paid to the collaboration with MIBACT in the governance and management of the Joint Program Initiative on the theme "Cultural Heritage and Global Change”, which addresses many of these issues in a European key.
