The centre inaugurates 14th June at 6pm in via Moncalvo 1. As of September it will aid families with disabled children and offer various types of rehabilitation.
Set up in 1993 to aid children and families in difficulty, in 2015 Fondazione Paideia created the Centro Paideia project.
After two years of work the former Istituto Nostra Signora in via Moncalvo 1 in Turin has been completely renovated according to the highest environmental standards. It now has 15 centres for activities regarding reception, support and rehabilitation, an area for courses and creative labs, a hall for events, conventions and training, a music room, a swimming pool, a multi-sensory roof, an outside play area, a library and cafeteria open to everyone, and the offices of Fondazione Paideia.
It is the ideal place for families with children with disabilities or difficulties, offering assistance and rehabilitation (speech therapy, neuro-psychomotricity, water therapy and psycho-educational help), but it is also a space for adults, new mothers and new fathers. Around 1200 people are expected per week.
The centre inaugurates on 14th June and from 15th June you can get information and visit the premises (from Monday to Friday, 9-6pm, tel. 011-0462400)
Programme activities kick off in September.
Compagnia di San Paolo has supported the project as donor over the last three years.
