European Researcher’s Night is back in Turin on 27 September to bring the general public closer to the world of research.
From 6.30 pm to midnight on 27 September Turin opens its doors to European Researcher’s Night. A special edition scattered over 9 different places in the city: the courtyard of the Rector of the University of Turin, Xkè Il laboratorio della curiosità, Museo A come Ambiente-MAcA, INFINI.TO Planetario di Torino, Museo dell'Astronomia e dello Spazio, Museo Egizio with Accademia delle Scienze, Mastio della Cittadella, Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, Istituto di Anatomia Dipartimento di Neuroscienze Rita Levi-Montalcini, INRIM-Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica and INFN-Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare. Centro Scienza will provide entertaining activities on the Tram della Scienza.
There will be over 50 designated sites and hundreds of researchers for a unique evening, a family-friendly exploration for anyone who loves science.
The event is organised with the patronage of the University of Turin, Politecnico, Metropolitan City, City of Turin in collaboration with the Piedmont Science System.
Participation in activities is free and open to everyone. Certain activities have limited places and need to be booked.
