On December 5th in Turin an international public meeting on Audience Development and Audience Engagement.
On December 5th, Turin is the European capital of Audience Development and Audience Engagement with Make Culture, Make Europe at the Gobetti theatre. This public meeting features the 34 cultural organisations which are partners of the international projects Adeste + and Be SpectACTIVE !, both winners of the call announced by the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission.
Representatives from Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Hungary will discuss policy, organizational processes, artistic co-creation, active spectators and much more.
The meeting begins at 4.30 pm, after greetings from project managers Alessandra Gariboldi for Adeste +, Giuliana Ciancio and Luca Ricci for BeSpectACTive !, followed by two mixed sessions with journalists and partners of both projects: «What does Audience Development have to do with it? " is moderated by Oliviero Ponte di Pino from Book City, with Niels Righolt (The Danish Center for the Arts and Interculture), Karla Horvat Crnogaj (Domino) and Renzo Francabandera (University of Turin). "What should we change to change others?" will be attended by Diego Vincenti (Il Giorno, moderator), Dea Vidovic (Kultura Nova Foundation), Sarah Melin (Goteborg Festival), Claudia Cannella (Hystrio) and Alberto Anfossi (Secretary General of Compagnia di San Paolo, partner of Adeste +). The day ends with conclusions drawn by Maddalena Giovannelli of Stratagemmi..
